About Our Client
Impact Drill & Blast offers integrated drill and blast services, offering full Rock on Ground capabilities covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, markout, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. With over 30 years experience, we service clients who work in the civil, mining and quarrying sectors.
What you will be Doing
This is an operational leadership role responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and efficient running of the mineral mine site.
Duties include:
- Supervising crews, allocating resources, and maintaining operating efficiency
- Conducting pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
- Performing hazard monitoring, risk assessments, and incident management
- Liaising with project management, engineers, and geotechnical teams
- Maintaining accurate shift reporting, operational logs, and production records
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What you will need
- Proven experience in mining supervising
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing mining teams in a production environment
- Sound understanding of mine safety systems, environmental obligations, and regulatory frameworks
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Current manual drivers licence
