About the Client

Our client provides end-to-end fire protection solutions, including system design, installation, maintenance, and emergency response training. They support organisations across commercial, industrial, and high-risk environments to protect people, property, and critical assets.


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Account Manager to oversee the delivery of key service contracts within a technical services environment.

This role is responsible for leading field technicians, ensuring high levels of safety, service performance, and customer satisfaction. You will play a critical role in managing operational delivery, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving productivity and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of field technicians
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure contract requirements are met
  • Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Conduct toolboxes, pre-starts, and safety audits
  • Monitor staff training and ensure competency requirements are met
  • Work with the sales team to identify service and sales opportunities
  • Assist with quotes, defect report reviews, and service improvements
  • Manage and resolve customer enquiries or complaints
  • Provide feedback to the Service Manager on team performance and resourcing
  • Be available after hours for urgent client support when required

 

Skills & Experience

  • Previous supervisory or operational leadership experience
  • Experience within fire protection, maintenance, or technical service industries highly regarded
  • Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Current drivers licence required
