What you will be doing
As a HR Rear Lift Driver, you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Operating Rear Lift bin trucks (HR vehicles) in line with company procedures
- Completing scheduled waste collection, transport, and disposal tasks
- Loading, unloading, and securing commercial bins independently (no offsider)
- Operating hydraulic lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and completing required documentation
- Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and housekeeping
- Communicating professionally with customers, site staff, and the public
- Working across day, afternoon, or night shifts with varying start times
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Valid HR or HC Driver Licence
- Proven experience in the commercial waste industry (essential)
- Experience operating Rear Lift and/or similar waste collection vehicles
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic management
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights and early starts
- White Card (desirable)
- Forklift Licence (LF) advantageous
