We are seeking an experienced Processing Plant Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on role where youll play a crucial part in maintaining plant operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.
Roster: 8:6, 7:7 (12-hour rotating shifts)

Our client, is a leading global producer of critical minerals essential for modern life. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, Our client processes, and markets high-quality mineral sands, including zircon and titanium dioxide. Their operations are vital to various industries, such as construction, manufacturing, and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine plant checks on pumps, screening equipment, the thickener, and flocculant plant.
- Identify and troubleshoot production and maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular housekeeping tasks, including:
- High-pressure hosing to clean processing spirals and bottom-level drains.
- Managing spillages and maintaining general plant cleanliness.
- Actively participate in downtime events, offering hands-on support to minimize delays.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a FIFO processing plant or similar operational environment is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills for fault-finding and troubleshooting.
- A hands-on, proactive approach to tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and effective housekeeping.
- Loader Ticket (Mandatory)
- Excavator Ticket (Mandatory)
- Skid Steer Ticket (Desirable)
