What you will be Doing

We are currently seeking experienced/multiskilled MINE SERVICES OPERATOR for work with a well known Mining Company in Weipa. These opportunities exist for local residents only who will contribute to the successful operation's of this mine site.

You will be working on  different projects as needed, ensure haul roads are maintained, other similar civil works across Andoom and Amrun.

• Training in mobile plant equipment on a mine site
• Maintain high standard of housekeeping on equipment
• Communicate with other operators and assist in traffic management
• Road crew - maintain haul roads and work on projects to maintain the mine
• Andoom based, some travel to Amrun as required

What you will need

• Current C class drivers licence
• Be able and willing to complete and pass a medical including drug and alcohol test
• Must be reliable and have a strong commitment to safety
• Must hold or be willing to obtain G1 apply risk management processes
• Ideal candidate will have some mining or civil experience
