About Our Client
Townsville City Council is responsible for maintaining the public spaces and green areas that make Townsville a vibrant and liveable city. Join a supportive, safety-focused team and contribute to the upkeep of parks, gardens, and open spaces.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Parks and Gardens Labourer, you will work within council crews to maintain and enhance parks, gardens, and public areas. This includes mowing, brushcutting, edging, planting, irrigation, and general landscape maintenance. Youll be hands-on and active outdoors, ensuring Townsville looks its best.
Enjoy a 9-day fortnight, early starts and finishes (6am - 3pm), and outdoor work.
What You Will Need:
- Manual C Class Drivers Licence (MR Licence desirable)
- White Card
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol
- Provide a National Police Check
- Proven labouring experience in landscaping, horticulture, or civil works
- Ability to operate small machinery (e.g. ride-on mowers, brushcutters, irrigation tools)
