About the Client
Our client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcement products supporting the construction and infrastructure industries. They produce and distribute a range of reinforcing steel, mesh and related construction products, with a strong focus on quality, safety and reliable service.
Hours:
In this role you will be working Monday Friday from 7am to 3pm with the potential for some overtime based on business demands.
What You Will Be Doing
As a forklift operating and pick packer you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Safely operate the forklift to load, unload and transport pallets
- Receive incoming stock and unload deliveries from trucks and containers
- Break down pallets and unpack individual products for processing
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately in accordance with pick slips and dispatch schedules
- Sort, organise and allocate products into customer-specific orders
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products are free from damage and meet customer specifications
- Label, wrap and prepare completed orders for dispatch
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- High Risk Forklift Ticket
- Previous forklift operating experience (min 6 months)
- Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
