Pipe Layer Immediate Start!
Location: Brisbane South & Brisbane North (Greenbank, Jimboomba, Redland Bay, Caboolture)
Rate: $41/hour + Penalties + Daily Travel Allowance
Hours: 6:30am starts | 9-10 hour days | Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work
About the Client
Our Client is a national civil and building contractor dedicated to serving the needs of the urban development industry. They offer their clients the largest pool of experienced resources in the industry, with teams based locally in every mainland state and territory of Australia.
We are seeking experienced Pipe Layers to join our team across multiple locations in Brisbane South and North. If you have experience in pipe laying and are looking for a new opportunity, we want to hear from you!
Duties
- Measuring and configuring pipe routes
- Gathering materials and installation tools
- Digging trenches using hand and machine trenching tools
- Locating installed piping systems using magnetic or radio indicators
- Removing old or broken piping systems
- Laying pipes into trenches and applying pipe spacers
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a pipe layer (minimum 6 months)
- Detailed knowledge of construction and pipe fitting techniques
- Knowledge of sewer systems, storm drains, and water mains
- Experience with machine-operated trenching tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and city maps
- Valid Drivers Licence
- White Card
