What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting and working from isometric drawings and P&IDs to ensure accurate installation and alignment of components. You will complete Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and follow established quality control systems and procedures. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead to prevent issues and ensure smooth project execution. Duties also include the installation of valves and water piping systems, as well as the safe and effective use of pipe threading equipment.
What You Require
- Fitter / Welder Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular/random drug and alcohol screens
- Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
- Working at heights and confined space ticket required
- Experience with chrome-moly, carbon steel, stainless steel and non-carbon exotic materials
- Experience in ASME standards
