Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic
- Located in Riverstone
- Permanent position
- Pay rate - $50-60 p/hr pending experience
- Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm
About Our Client
This Australian company, based in Riverstone, NSW, specializes in providing road and rail (hirail) equipment for railway infrastructure projects. With over 30 years of experience, they offer a fleet of hirail trucks, telehandlers, access equipment, and excavators, supporting track work, station upgrades, and maintenance.
What you will be doing
As a skilled and experienced Mechanic working as a second-in-command in our clients workshop your role will consist of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of over 120 assets, including:
- Rail Trailers
- Hirail Vehicles
- Cranes & Telehandlers
- Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs)
- Excavators
- Trucks & Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) Equipment
- Light Vehicles
What you will need
- Drivers licence and reliable transport
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
