Plant Operator

Overview

WorkPac is seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our clients team on a full time basis on a 4:4 FIFO roster, across forestry, farming, workshop and the industrial environment.

If you have 3+ years of experience working as a machinery and plant operator and possess the necessary skills, we want to hear from you.

Benefits:

Island life FIFO position 4:4 roster

Full time position $80,000 + per year

Accommodation and meal allowances provided

What You Will Be Doing:

Operation of machinery, mobile and processing plant

Daily, general machine maintenance including pre-start checks, housekeeping and end-shift checks

Operating production and processing equipment as directed by Plant Controller

Identifying hazards, maintenance issues, and unplanned event

Maintain a safe working environment including identifying and escalating OHS risks

Operation of mobile plant such as telehandler, forklift and other machines

What You Will Need:

Civil machinery tickets and licences - Essential

HR licence minimum

Other civil plant tickets

3+ years of operating industrial plant and heavy machinery experience

High Risk WP licence desirable (EWP)

Communicate effectively and provide feedback to the Team Leader

Strong preventative maintenance knowledge

Strong work ethic and attention to detail
