About Our Client

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing plumbing and maintenance business servicing residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients throughout the Mackay region.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting field staff, coordinating workloads, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a proactive approach and a willingness to support the team wherever required.

• Supervise daily plumbing and maintenance operations
• Coordinate and support field staff, apprentices, and tradespeople
• Assist with scheduling, workforce planning, and job allocation
• Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality standards
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Identify and resolve operational issues efficiently
• Support continuous improvement of systems and processes
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members
• Assist with field-based activities when required

What You Will Need

• Extensive plumbing industry experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
• Previous supervisory, foreman, or leading hand experience highly regarded
• Current driver's licence required
• Relevant plumbing qualifications and licences
