About Our Client
WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing plumbing and maintenance business servicing residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients throughout the Mackay region.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting field staff, coordinating workloads, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a proactive approach and a willingness to support the team wherever required.
- Supervise daily plumbing and maintenance operations
- Coordinate and support field staff, apprentices, and tradespeople
- Assist with scheduling, workforce planning, and job allocation
- Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Identify and resolve operational issues efficiently
- Support continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members
- Assist with field-based activities when required
What You Will Need
- Extensive plumbing industry experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
- Previous supervisory, foreman, or leading hand experience highly regarded
- Current driver's licence required
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and licences
