About the Client
Our client is Australias leading provider of high-quality precast concrete products, including reinforced concrete pipes, box culverts, and concrete pits. They specialise in producing large concrete pipes used in bridges, highways, and underground water systems.
What you will be doing
The manufacturing process involves MIG welding steel coils in the reo section, which are then placed into moulds, set with concrete, and finished to create strong, polished products.
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Operating production machines around the manufacturing facility
- Quality testing products to ensure they meet minimum standards
- Entering data and numbers into the system (training provided)
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and production experience (minimum 6 months)
- Strong ability to use computers and work with numbers/data
- Proven work ethic and commitment to attendance
- Drivers licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol testing
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Experience working in a batch plant (desirable)
