About the Client

What you will be doing
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Ensuring a safe workplace by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in compliance with OH&S legislation and company policies.
- Managing and coordinating site operations to achieve production targets, quality assurance, budget control, and effective resource allocation.
- Leading and developing a team of nine staff, including mill operators and maintenance personnel.
- Maintaining compliance with environmental, HACCP, and Feedsafe standards.
- Overseeing inventory control, raw material supply, and production planning to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving strategies to optimize site operations.
- Handling customer service activities, including inquiries and complaint resolution.
- Monitoring and reporting on plant performance, including equipment efficiency and downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
What you will need
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
- Demonstrated experience in managing, leading, and developing employees in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of OH&S, QA, and statutory management standards.
- Experience in production planning, control, and measurement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including MRP2 and ERP environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A valid drivers license and flexibility to travel regionally if required.
- Understanding of mechanical equipment and maintenance practices.
