About Our Client

Our Client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist products for the underground mining and tunnelling industries. They offer a safety-focused team environment, consistent weekday hours and an opportunity to secure permanent employment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Production Worker, you will be required to work Monday to Friday from 5am to 1:06pm and be responsible for the below duties:

• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
• Loading raw materials according to specifications
• Cutting, rolling, bending and shaping metal products
• Setting up and operating semi-automatic welding machines
• Cleaning and smoothing welds using grinders and hand tools
• Picking and packing materials
• Completing quality checks and recording results
• Preparing and securing finished products for transport
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

• Previous manufacturing experience in an industrial environment
• Welding, fabrication or machine operation experience
• Ability to complete repetitive and manual tasks
• Physically fit and capable of performing the required duties
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
