About the Client
Our client specialise in the production of large concrete pipes that are used for bridges, highways and underground water systems. They are currently seeking dedicated Production Workers, specialising in Casting or Reo works, based out of the Swanbank factory.
Precast Production Worker
Duties
- Setting up moulds
- Stripping moulds
- Assisting with concrete pours
- Concrete casting
- Ensuring the workshop/yard is clean at all times
Requirements
- Driver's Licence + reliable transport
- Physically fit as work will be labour intensive
- Willingness to learn and a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in precast or concreting (min 3 months)
- Ability to pass a D&A/PEM
Reo/Welding Production Worker
Duties
- Assist with the repairs of concrete moulds
- Assist with the modifications of concrete moulds
- Completing MIG and STICK welding duties
Requirements
- Driver's Licence + reliable transport
- Physically fit as work will be labour intensive
- Willingness to learn and a strong attention to detail
- Previous MIG welding experience ---- even if it's with a family member (doesn't have to be work related)
- Ability to pass a D&A/PEM
