About the role:
WorkPac is seeking a Project Controls Officer to join our client for a 3 month duration. This role involves supporting the Project Shaping Specialist by assisting with various tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting Project Leaders in cost control and forecasting.
- Identifying improvement opportunities for streamlining project controls work process.
- Downloading reports from SAP and analysing data.
- Raising purchase requisitions and processing invoices in SAP.
- Liaising with Project Leaders to confirm scope of commitments and payment substantiation.
- Maintaining project change notice register, with effective implementation of contingency & change management processes.
- Performing Close Out and Capitalisation activities at the end of the project.
- Providing document control guidance and governance for engineering related documents, consistent with established document management practices.
- Complying with standardised processes, systems, and tools.
- Providing additional administration support as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Certificate in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent training and experience
- Strong administration background ideally with document control exposure
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- High Attention to Detail
- Good analytical skills
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
- SharePoint experience (preferred)
