Project Engineer

About the role:

WorkPac is seeking an Project Engineer to join our client for a 12 month duration 10/4 Roster. This role will provide support to the Site Supervisor and providing oversight and management of the QA System.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing oversight and manage the QA system

• Working with the Site Supervisor.

• Procurement, ensure the products, services or deliverables are produced to the required quality standard.

• RFI's and Reporting

• Manage project variations and changes and maintain the change control process.

• Manage project costs through cost estimating, budgeting, monitoring and contingency management.

• Manage the risk management process, including the development of contingency plans, reviewing residual risks and escalating risks that cannot be managed at the project level.

• Monitor overall progress, scope, project schedule, quality standards, use of resources, and initiate corrective action where necessary

Skills and Experience Required

• White card

• Degree in civil engineering

• 2 or 3 years in civil construction.

• Experience in road construction for TMR and/or local councils.
