Mechanic - Heavy Commercial

- Site-Based Role Singleton Area
- Monday to Friday, Day Shift (6:30am 3:00pm)
About the Role
WorkPac is seeking experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our client at a leading open-cut coal mining operation in the Singleton region. This is a site-based position offering consistent day-shift work, Monday to Friday

Our client is a world-class mining operator producing some of the highest quality thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coals for export. Their commitment to safety, performance, and development makes them an employer of choice in the Hunter Valley.
What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on the Light Vehicle fleet.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on the Light Truck fleet.
- Conducting in-field breakdowns and recoveries.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and undertaking corrective action.
- Ensuring all work is performed to site safety and quality standards.
What You Will Need
- Trade Qualification Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Demonstrated experience as a Light Vehicle or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.
- 4WD experience is highly desirable.
- Current drivers licence and reliable transport.
- Ability to pass a Coal Board Order 43 Medical and Drug & Alcohol Test.
