About Our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working within the Dragline Department on a coal mining operation near Moranbah. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating large mining equipment to support dragline and production activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Operating Marion 8050, 8020 or BE1370 Draglines within a coal mining environment
- Working alongside CAT D10 & D11 Dozers to support dragline operations
- Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects
- Maintaining high safety, housekeeping, and operational standards
- Supporting site production targets and operational requirements
What You Will Need
- Previous mining experience operating Marion 8050, 8020 or BE1370 Draglines within a coal mining environment
- Current Training Transcript and/or SSE Signed Skills List demonstrating dragline competency
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Driver's Licence & Resume
