About the Client
Our Client is a leading supplier of construction materials across Australia, operating modern quarry and production facilities with a strong focus on safety, quality and operational excellence. They are seeking a motivated Plant Operator to join their team based in Petrie.
What you will be doing
As a Plant Operator you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Operating computer-controlled systems to batch and monitor material output
- Monitoring production processes and loading materials directly into trucks
- Conducting pre-start inspections and routine preventative maintenance
- Maintaining plant cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Assisting with machinery operation and equipment duties as required
- Following site safety procedures and monthly compliance requirements
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete manual handling and physical work
- Experience performing basic maintenance tasks
- Loader RII Ticket highly regarded
- Quarry Medical or Coal Board Medical
- Self-motivated and reliable work ethic
