About Our Client
Our clients state-of-the-art quarry operation is a key supplier of high-quality construction materials for major infrastructure and building projects. Equipped with advanced technology, the site is designed for efficient and sustainable production, ensuring consistent supply while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental care. The operation plays a critical role in supporting the construction industry's growth in the region.
What you will be doing
- Ensure site safety, environmental and legislative compliance.
- Lead safe and efficient quarry/mining operations to meet production targets.
- Manage product quality, maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, develop and support employees and contractors.
- Manage budgets, reporting, procurement and inventory controls.
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
What you will need
- Experience in quarry or mining operations in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Drivers licence and reliable transport
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize production costs
- NSW quarry manager licence
