Quarry Manager
- Located in Dubbo, NSW
- Permanent position
- Competitive Renumeration + Car + Laptop + Phone
- Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 5pm and Friday 6.30am to 3pm
About Our Client
Our clients state-of-the-art quarry operation is a key supplier of high-quality construction materials for major infrastructure and building projects. Equipped with advanced technology, the site is designed for efficient and sustainable production, ensuring consistent supply while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental care. The operation plays a critical role in supporting the construction industry's growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quarry operations, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Supervise and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Oversee material extraction, processing, and quality control to meet market demands
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational performance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Liaise with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, contractors, and internal teams
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in quarry or mining operations in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of OHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize production costs
- Certificate IV in Surface Extractions and working towards a Tier 2 practicing certificate or willing to obtain one.
