About our Client
Our client has a world class metalliferous processing site positioned on the outskirts of Townsville and are seeking an experienced labourer with a forklift ticket for their various departments.
What You Will Be Doing
As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production requirements. You will be required to work 2 days / 2 nights and 4 days off working 12.25 hour shifts.
Day Shift - 5:45am-6:00pm
Night shift - 5:45pm-6:00am
Your main responsibilities and duties will include;
- Safely and effectively operating fixed plant (valves, pulleys, conveyors) and mobile equipment (gantry & forklift)
- Pre-start checks of various equipment
- Following strict company policies and procedures
- Working in a team-focused environment to meet production goals.
What you will need
- Forklift licence (required)
- Gantry Crane ticket ( highly desirable)
- Physical fortitude to withstand high temperatures and long hours
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and on-site random drug testing
- Need to be clean shaven for the role
