What Youll Be Doing

  • Conduct comprehensive primary health assessments and develop patient care plans
  • Manage acute and chronic physical health conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments in line with clinical guidelines
  • Respond to medical emergencies and deliver urgent care when required
  • Provide health education on disease prevention and self-care
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes

What Were Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 23 years of post-graduate experience in acute or primary healthcare (within the last 5 years)
  • Background in Primary Health, Rural or Emergency Nursing
  • Current CPR (HLTAID009 or equivalent) and First Aid
  • Experience using electronic health record systems

Desirable

  • Advanced Life Support certification
  • Recognition as a Nurse Immuniser (NSW)
  • Skills in phlebotomy, cannulation, suturing, application of back slabs, etc.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of mental health, chronic disease management, and culturally safe care
