WorkPac Health and Social Care is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse in New South Wales. Manage inmate healthcare at Australias largest correctional facility, with top resources, competitive salary, and a focus on safety, support, and career growth.
About Our Client
Our client manages a large maximum-security prison in the region, housing male inmates with varying security classification's. The facility is recognized for its modern infrastructure and focus on rehabilitative programs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates
- Implement and manage patient care plans
- Ensuring the safety and security of inmates and the community
- Provide a comprehensive and accurate health assessment for patients
What You Will Need
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum of 2 + years full-time post-graduate experience (or part-time equivalent)
- Experience in primary health, rural health, or emergency nursing (desirable)
- Current First Aid and BLS Certification (ALS preferred) (12-month validity)
- National Criminal History Check (issued within last 3 months)
- 2 X COVID vaccination
- Current drivers licence and own vehicle required.
