Ready to shake up your routine?We're looking for experienced Registered Nurses who thrive under pressure and want the flexibility of casual, on-call night shiftsno set roster, just dynamic, high-impact work when it suits you.This is not your average nursing gig. You'll be part of a tight-knit healthcare team working within a secure correctional facility, delivering urgent, primary, and trauma-informed care when its needed most. Youll work autonomously, back your clinical judgement, and help make a real difference in the lives of those in custody.
About Our Client
Our client operates a high-security correctional facility that plays a key role in South Australia's justice system. The facility is focused on rehabilitation through structured recreation, education programs, crisis intervention, and strong community partnershipsworking toward better outcomes for individuals in custody.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee complete rounds for medication administration
- Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations
- Execute prompt emergency interventions
- Carry out detailed post-trauma/injury assessments
- Deliver a spectrum of essential primary healthcare services
What You Will Need
- AHPRA Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
- 3+ years of post-grad experience (ideally in ED, rural, or primary care)
- Strong assessment, trauma, and emergency response skills
- ALS certified + venepuncture/cannulation experience preferred
- National Police Check (within 3 months)
- Australian Citizen or PR
- Comfortable working nights and on-call in a correctional setting
