Join our dedicated nursing team as a Casual Night Shift Registered Nurse within a correctional facility, where you'll work autonomously to deliver comprehensive primary careincluding medication administration, clinical assessments, emergency responses, and post-trauma evaluations. This active role offers onsite training and the opportunity to be part of a supportive, hardworking team committed to making a meaningful impact on patient care.
About Our Client
This high-security facility plays a vital role in South Australia's correctional system. It offers crisis intervention, case management, structured recreation, and educational programs, all aimed at supporting rehabilitation and fostering positive outcomes through strong community partnerships.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee complete rounds for medication administration
- Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations
- Execute prompt emergency interventions
- Carry out detailed post-trauma/injury assessments
- Deliver a spectrum of essential primary healthcare services
What You Will Need
- Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years full time post graduate experience in Australia as an RN
- Experience in Primary Health, Rural Health or Emergency Nursing (desirable)
- Corrections experience advantageous
- Venipuncture and cannulation experience preferred
- Current ALS
- National Criminal History Check (issued within last 3 months)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
- Ability to do night shifts
