What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will assist and support branch activities to ensure operational best practice, a consistent customer experience, and strong customer retention, while maintaining a focus on risk awareness and mitigation, asset and fleet optimisation, and business growth initiatives. They will be responsible for achieving rental branch performance targets, including utilisation, margin, service schedules, as well as safety, audit, and compliance requirements.
The role will also involve ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and prepared for hire in a timely manner, alongside managing vehicle collections, deliveries, and overall yard presentation. Daily reporting to the Branch Manager on asset availability, cleanliness, and maintenance activities will be required. Additionally, the candidate will support growth and retention strategies, contributing to optimal customer experience, strategic expansion, return on assets, and risk mitigation frameworks, while consistently demonstrating company values and behaviours and upholding a strong commitment to workplace health and safety for themselves and others.
What You Will Need
- Forklift ticket or willingness to obtain
- Minimum MR driver licence or willingness to obtain
- Ideally have knowledge of commercial vehicle configurations, including applicable state based roadworthy requirements
- Customer Service experience, with transport and or rental activities (preferred)
- Ability to Multi-Task.
