About our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local & DIDO opportunities available.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will lead site-level risk assessments, develop and simplify risk-related documents, and support the improvement of risk controls. You will enhance risk capability through coaching and training, and collaborate with leaders and experts to integrate risk-based thinking into decision-making.
What you will need:
- Knowledge of critical risk management principles and SHMS frameworks.
- Familiarity with Queensland Coal Mining legislation and site compliance systems.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Detail-focused, analytical, and confident working with systems and data.
- Relevant qualifications in WHS, Risk Management, or a similar field.
