An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a global industrial engineering group, driving growth across the mining sector by offering technical solutions and client-focused support.

About the Position:

You will play a key role in supporting customers across the mining sector, promoting high-quality fluid handling solutions, and driving sales performance.

 

  • Manage key mining accounts and identify new business opportunities
  • Replace competitor pump installations through client engagement
  • Conduct on-site audits and deliver technical support
  • Plan visits and report insights using CRM and Power BI tools
  • Conduct training sessions to boost customer product knowledge

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive pump sales and expand market share through new and existing clients
  • Prepare proposals focused on process optimisation and transitioning to advanced pump systems
  • Oversee spare parts programs and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders across mining sites
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support strategic planning initiatives

 

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in mining sales or a related technical role
  • Mechanical or process engineering background preferred
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • CRM experience and the ability to analyse and present data effectively
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally
