About the Role
This role is responsible for managing and supporting key client accounts while ensuring the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of security system services. As an Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering operational, technical, and strategic support. The position requires strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intercom systems, combined with the ability to identify growth opportunities, prepare detailed quotations, and coordinate internal teams across Service, Projects, and Sales. You will oversee contract performance, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute to business development through innovative security solutions tailored to customer needs. This role is ideal for a seasoned security professional seeking a stable, long-term career within a respected national organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for assigned clients, providing both operational and technical support.
- Oversee contract delivery, ensuring performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for portfolio growth and new business.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and prepare quotations, designs, tenders, and supporting documentation.
- Gather project information through surveys and client communication, supporting tender reviews and presentations.
- Coordinate with Service, Projects, and Sales teams to meet customer requirements.
- Identify innovation opportunities based on customer needs and industry trends.
- Maintain safety and quality standards in all work practices.
Skills and Experience Required
- 5+ years of industry experience with strong knowledge of security products, including CCTV, access control, and intercom systems.
- Proven portfolio management, customer service excellence, and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated risk management experience and the ability to assess site and product requirements effectively.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and adapt to changing work demands in a fast-paced environment.
