Senior Finance Officer

Are you passionate about finance and keen to make a real impact in your community? Join us as a Senior Finance Officer and play a pivotal role in maintaining and reporting on the Shires financial systems. You will be responsible for the provision of financial support including end of month processes, reconciliations, financial asset management, accounts receivable and internal auditing.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience in a finance role with a similar level of responsibility
Previous experience with accounting software packages
Strong numeracy and data entry skills
Computer skills in MS Office (Int/Adv in Word & Excel)
Customer Service focus

The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role with tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance and advancement towards a professional qualification. Knowledge/experience of SynergySoft, Internal Auditing, the Local Government Act and report writing skills will be highly regarded.
