About the position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Officer to provide critical financial support across various areas, including end-of-month processes, reconciliations, financial asset management, accounts receivable, and internal auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial processes and ensure accurate reconciliations.
- Manage financial asset tracking and reporting.
- Support accounts receivable and assist with internal auditing functions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Strong commitment to demonstrating the clients values.
- Proven experience in a finance role with similar responsibilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Intermediate to Advanced Excel & Word).
- Strong numeracy, data entry, and customer service skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, or progress toward a professional qualification.
- Experience with SynergySoft, internal auditing, the Local Government Act, and report writing will be highly regarded.
