About the role
Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Specialist to join their team in Belmont, WA, responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing various locks and security systems. The role offers a competitive salary, a fully serviced work vehicle, phone, and laptop, with opportunities for career development within a global, innovative company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair various types of locks, security devices, and door hardware.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electronic access control systems.
- Perform safe repairs and servicing.
- Disassemble locks and replace worn parts like tumblers and springs.
- Maintain and update customer keying and maintenance records.
- Participate in after-hours work on a rotating roster.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in locksmithing, including servicing and repairing locks and security devices.
- Knowledge of Masterkey Systems, Access Control, and Electronic Locking Solutions.
- Experience with safe repairs and servicing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electronic systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Security License and Working with Children check.
- Construction Card (White Card).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and attention to detail.
