- Local role to Gladstone
- Roster: 6:30am to approximately 4:00pm - 5:00pm
- Duration: 4-6 weeks
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operator / Labourer to support short-term project works across an active construction site. This role will suit candidates with hands-on civil construction experience who are comfortable operating plant and assisting with general labouring duties as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to working safely in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate skid steer and/or excavator machinery in accordance with site requirements
- Assist with general labouring duties across the project site
- Support civil construction activities including pipe laying and/or road works
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and site crews to meet project deadlines
- Ensure all tasks are completed in line with safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow site procedures, SWMS, and safety directions at all times
Essential Skills, Tickets and Experience:
- Current Drivers Licence
- White Card
- Skid Steer and/or Excavator Ticket
- Excavator experience highly regarded
- Civil construction experience advantageous
- Pipe laying and/or road works experience desirable
- Ability to work long hours in a physical, outdoor environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to assist across multiple tasks as required
