Skid Steer/Dozer/Excavator

• Local role to Gladstone
• Roster: 6:30am to approximately 4:00pm - 5:00pm
• Duration: 4-6 weeks

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operator / Labourer to support short-term project works across an active construction site. This role will suit candidates with hands-on civil construction experience who are comfortable operating plant and assisting with general labouring duties as required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to working safely in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate skid steer and/or excavator machinery in accordance with site requirements
• Assist with general labouring duties across the project site
• Support civil construction activities including pipe laying and/or road works
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and site crews to meet project deadlines
• Ensure all tasks are completed in line with safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow site procedures, SWMS, and safety directions at all times

Essential Skills, Tickets and Experience:

• Current Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Skid Steer and/or Excavator Ticket
• Excavator experience highly regarded
• Civil construction experience advantageous
• Pipe laying and/or road works experience desirable
• Ability to work long hours in a physical, outdoor environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to assist across multiple tasks as required
