WorkPac Health and Social Care is partnering with a respected aged care provider to recruit an experienced Care Manager for a full-time leadership position within an 80-bed residential aged care facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse and aged care leader looking to take the next step in their career while making a meaningful impact on resident outcomes and clinical standards.

About the Role

As the Care Manager, you will lead the clinical operations of an 80-bed residential aged care facility, providing guidance and support to nursing and care teams while ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee clinical governance, manage compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, support accreditation requirements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, generally 8:00am to 4:00pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support nursing and care teams

Oversee clinical governance and quality outcomes

Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements

Monitor and improve clinical performance and resident outcomes

Support accreditation processes and audits

Foster a positive and collaborative team culture

Manage clinical risks and continuous improvement initiatives

 

What You Will Need

Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Minimum 10 years' nursing experience

Previous experience as a Care Manager or senior clinical leader within aged care

Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and clinical governance

Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-centred care
