- Local work + attractive rate - $45 flat
About our client
Our client is a leading steel fabrication company in Townsville that specialises in welding, laser cutting, structural steel and more! They have recently undertaken a large project at the Townsville port and are looking for reliable spotter/labourers to join their crew.
What you will be doing
- Roof labouring - working alongside tradesman to remove roof sheeting, purlins, bridging and replacing with new.
- Spotting duties - spotting on ground and from the EWP
- Operating the elevated work platform on site
- General labouring duties
What you will need
- HRWL - EWP ticket
- Working at heights (refresher completed within 2 years)
- White Card
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Current South32 mine site medical (highly desirable)
- Sound level of physical fitness
- Desire to commit to the 5 month contract.
