About the Position:

As a Strategic Projects Officer, you will:

Coordinate strategic projects, enhance processes, and foster stakeholder collaboration to deliver sustainable outcomes for the clients community.

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver key projects that align with community vision and council priorities.
  • Oversee procurement, stakeholder engagement, and project management to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Develop and implement tools that promote consistent project management practices across the organisation.
  • Support project leads and ensure adherence to the Project Management Framework.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing projects of various scales to support strategic goals.
  • Ensuring effective application of project management tools and frameworks.
  • Supporting project leads and promoting best practices across the organisation.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to align projects with community needs.
  • Developing policies and procedures to improve project delivery.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Qualifications in project management.
  • Experience in project administration and management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Strong written skills and the ability to create procedures and policies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
