About Our Client:

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Underground Project Supervisor to lead and coordinate underground development and commissioning activities. This role requires a hands-on approach to project supervision, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to BHP procedures. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational success and delivering on project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise underground project operations, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including Fixed Plant, ODSP supervisors, Planning teams, and contractors.
Oversee underground commissioning activities and ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Apply in-depth knowledge of BHP procedures, particularly around isolation and energizing processes.
Manage and mentor on-site teams to maintain a high standard of work and safety compliance.
Conduct regular inspections and ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in underground operations.
Skills and Experience Required:
Extensive experience in underground (OD UG) projects, operations, and development.
Proven leadership ability in supervising and managing complex projects.
Strong stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to engage and align multiple teams.
In-depth understanding of BHP processes, especially isolation and energizing procedures.
Hands-on underground driving experience.
Technical background in Electrical (preferred) or Mechanical engineering.
Experience in maintenance planning is highly regarded.
