About the Client:

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Technical Advisor to join our esteemed client's team, based near Perth airport. This position is Monday to Friday for a 6-month duration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and commission instrumentation systems.
- Lead and manage instrumentation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Resolve technical issues to keep projects on track.
- Organize site activities and manage contractor teams.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and turn them into projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on fixed plant maintenance experience.
- WA A Grade Electrical license or relevant qualifications in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in implementing and commissioning instrumentation projects.
- Strong ability to interpret and develop technical documents, including engineering drawings and commissioning plans.
- Experience in leading teams and working effectively with stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
