Sandblaster

• Monday to Friday role
• $39.34 - $45.00 per hour + Super
• Morning Shift, 6am 2pm

Our client is a leading global manufacturing and engineering company specializing in the design, development, and production of high-performance wear solutions, custom-engineered steel castings, and heavy-duty equipment for some of the world's most demanding industries. With a strong focus on the mining, rail, resources, and industrial sectors, our client delivers innovative products and services that help customers improve operational efficiency, productivity, and equipment reliability.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Operate and adjust sandblasting equipment to remove rust, paint, scale, and other surface contaminants, selecting appropriate blasting media, pressure settings, and nozzle configurations to achieve the required surface finish.

-  Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards were met, while setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting sandblasting equipment to support safe and efficient operations.

-  Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements by using appropriate PPE and following established procedures, while maintaining a clean and organised work area and carrying out additional duties as required.

What You Will Need:

• Able to cope with intensive physical work in an industrial space
• Previous sandblasting experience and knowledge of sandblasting equipment
• Drivers Licence mandatory
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Forklift Licence good to have but not essential
