About Our Client:
Our client is a respected provider of fire protection and electrical services to commercial businesses in and around Broken Hill. WorkPac are currently seeking a Trade Assistant to assist with maintaining, repairing, and installing various fire protection and electrical systems.
Roster:
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
What you will be doing:
- Assisting technicians with the maintenance, repair, and installation of fire protection and electrical systems in commercial environments.
- Supporting routine inspections, testing, and basic diagnostics on fire protection equipment under supervision.
- Working alongside technicians to help meet client needs and ensure all systems are operating correctly.
- Completing job documentation, including basic reports and computerbased record updates.
- Following all industry standards, safety procedures, codes, and regulations while performing tasks.
- Helping troubleshoot system issues and contributing to effective solutions as directed by senior staff.
- Ensuring all serviced equipment is safe, reliable, and compliant with Wormalds quality expectations.
What you will need:
- Strong computer skills for completing documentation, reports, and electronic records
- Good problemsolving ability with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when supporting technicians and interacting with clients
- A current Drivers Licence
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions and work safely within industry standards
