Trade Assistant
- $32.31/hour + penalties
- Monday to Friday
- Located in Tamworth
About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of steel fabrication and assembly services. They are currently seeking skilled Trade Assistants to support their growing team with the assembly of steel and aluminium products across ongoing projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting tradespeople with the assembly of steel products
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials such as aluminium and steel
- Manual handling, grinding, and general fabrication tasks
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working collaboratively within a team environment and following clear instructions
What You Will Need
- White Card (Construction Induction) Required
- Experience using hand and power tools Required
- Ability to read measurements and work with steel/aluminium Preferred
- Experience in a similar steel or fabrication environment An advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
