About the role
WorkPac are currently seeking Trade Assistants to be a part of our clients dynamic and growing team in Wundowie. With a chance at ongoing work you will be working Monday - Thursday, 6am - 2pm then Friday early finishes working 6am - 12pm. The role will involve mineral processing products provided to customers in the global mining and resources market (primarily for the hard rock industry) with a comprehensive range of custom designed products for grinding mills, crushing and conveying equipment. Depending on your skillset and experience we have positions available in different areas in the Foundry.

In this role, you will:
- Use a range of power/hand tools (such as grinders and hammers)
- Iron casting
- Read Drawings
- Conduct maintenance on furnace
- operated cranes, forklifts
- empty Slag-pot
- weigh and add alloys / materials to furnace
- basic welding
- inspecting plant and equipment for damage and reporting accordingly
What you will need:
Experience reading drawings
Experience with power tools
High risk forklift license (Preferred)
Skid Steer (Preferred)
WA driver's License
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and DAS
