About Our Client
Our client is a major Australian civil infrastructure and construction company specializing in road profiling and asphalt paving. They operate the largest road profiling fleet in the country, working on everything from local suburban streets to major highway and airport renovations. Our client focuses on two core areas: profiling and asphalt paving.
What You Will Be Doing
Duties:
- Safely operate and drive HC Flocon trucks to transport and deliver bitumen products to asphalt and road surfacing crews
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment
- Load, transport and unload bitumen products
- Operate Flocon truck systems, including pumps, hoses and spray equipment where required
- Deliver products to multiple project sites while adhering to delivery schedules and operational requirements
- Work closely with asphalt crews, spray seal teams and supervisors to support daily project activities
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logbooks and vehicle records.
Shift Structure
Monday to Friday 5am to 5pm (day shift)
Sunday to Thursday 5pm to 5am (night shift)
What is Required
- HC Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- Reliability and good work ethic!
- Minimum 2+ years' experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably in road construction.
- Strong understanding of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements with a clean driving record and strong safety focus.
- Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, and travel away from home when required.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately, pass a pre-employment D&A test, and provide a driving/traffic history when requested.
