About the Client
Our Client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering large-scale residential and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. They are currently working on a multi-stage residential development and are seeking experienced operators to support earthworks and road construction activities. This project offers long-term stability and consistent hours within a professional civil environment.
What you will be doing
As a Watercart Operator, you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Operating a water cart to control dust on haul roads, work areas, and stockpiles
- Maintaining appropriate moisture levels to support compaction and earthworks
- Completing pre-start checks and routine inspections of the water cart
- Refilling the water cart from approved water sources in line with site procedures
- Assisting with general civil and labouring tasks when water cart operations are not required
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Minimum 12 months water cart operating experience
- Previous civil construction experience
- Water Cart ticket (RII)
- Willingness to perform labouring duties when required
- Manual HR Drivers Licence and reliable transport
