About Our Client
Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards. The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Production Welder you will be required to work from 5:00am 1:00pm (Monday to Friday), with daily overtime available. Your core duties will include;
- Weld reinforcement cages and steel components to required specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and reo schedules
- Cut, bend, and assemble reinforcing steel (reo) using appropriate tools and machinery
- Perform MIG welding to join reo bars, mesh, and embedded items
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Previous MIG welding experience (min 1 month)
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
