What you will need!

  • Driver's license essential and own transport
  • Current working with children's card essential
  • Ability to gather and interpret data to create and develop work flows
  • Well developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify and manager operational risk
  • Established understanding of procurement and financial management practices
  • Ability to practically apply the relevant legislation in operational settings
  • Experience in planning and managing projects, assets and resources
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must have weekend and night availability
  • High attention to detail
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Travel within the Northern Territory, sometimes at short notice to support disaster affected regions

 

What you will be doing

  • Support the coordination of operational requirement including those of collaborating agencies and clients
  • Support the purchasing, financial management and distribution of resources
  • Support mobilisation and demobilisation of resources necessary to meet localised service delivery requirements.
  • Provide training, leadership support and structure for staff
  • Manage assets, stationary and accountable items.
  • Work closely with the Welfare Group Manager and relevant leads to prepare logistics and intelligence on daily tasking.
  • Manage and maintain records accordingly.
