About the Client:

Our client is a well-established electrical and mechanical service provider based in Malaga, specialising in electric motor rewinds, repairs and overhauls. Supporting a broad range of industrial and commercial operations, they are known for delivering high-quality workmanship, fast turnaround times and reliable technical solutions. Our client maintains a strong focus on safety, precision and customer service, and has built a strong reputation as a trusted local specialist in their field.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the disassembly, refurbishment and reassembly of AC and DC motors of various sizes, including electrical fitting, assembly and rewinding of motors and pumps. The role involves conducting testing, dynamic balancing and machining where required, while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality. You will maintain a clean, organised workshop environment, collaborate closely with the workshop team to support productivity and workflow, and assist with the mentoring and supervision of trainees and apprentices as part of ongoing knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Demonstrated experience in electric motor refurbishment (essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge of medium to high voltage AC motors, from fractional HP to large machines
  • Motor rewind experience (highly desirable)
  • Current and valid electrical license (desirable)
  • Machining and dynamic balancing experience (desirable)
  • Forklift (LF) license (desirable)
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability work effectively within a team and adhere to safe work procedures
