About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Security and Workshop Assembly Technician. This role is offering Monday to Friday roster. You will be primarily focused on the manufacturing and assembly of portable solar solutions, while also supporting medium to large Integrated Electronic Security & CCTV Systems for key clients throughout Perth and WA.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Assemble, test, and install portable solar solutions.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all solar products meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to both solar and security systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

 

 

 

Skills and Experience required:

 

 

  • Knowledge of solar technology and experience in assembling solar products.
  • An understanding of IP CCTV, Access Control & Alarms marketplace locally and in-depth.
  • A good understanding of IP & IT Networking and hands-on ability.
  • Experience with High-Level Integrations is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously yet still able to work as part of a team.
  • Security Licence (preferred but not essential - we can assist with the training & application process).
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
