Workshop Supervisor

What You Will Be Doing
- Supervising day-to-day workshop operations and leading a team of tradespeople, apprentices, and workshop personnel
- Planning and coordinating labour, resources, and workflow to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures
- Monitoring productivity, quality, and operational performance across the workshop
- Interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Identifying and resolving operational issues while maintaining workflow efficiency
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
- Assisting the Branch Manager with operational planning and workshop performance
What Will You Need?
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Fabrication, Boilermaking, or a related Engineering discipline
- Previous experience in a Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of workshop planning, scheduling, labour allocation, and resource management
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver productivity, quality, and safety outcomes
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety legislation and risk management practices
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Computer literacy with experience using ERP or manufacturing systems
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Dogging, Rigging, EWP, or other High Risk Work Licences highly regarded
