About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Workshop Supervisor to join our esteemed client's team based in Kalgoorlie. This leadership role involves managing the workshop operations, including the machine shop, fabrication shop, and line boring scheduling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily workshop operations, including machining, fabrication, and line boring.
- Oversee job planning and scheduling to meet client timelines.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and WHS standards.
- Report directly to the General Manager.
- Manage workshop flow and coordinate production priorities.
Skills and Experience:
- Trade certification in machining, fabrication, or mechanical disciplines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- High working knowledge of WHS requirements and safety standards.
- Experience in machining, fabrication, and line boring environments.
- Proficiency in computer systems and job management platforms.
