ABOUT THE COMPANY:

We're seeking a motivated Yard Coordinator to join our team and help us maintain smooth operations in our yard. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Yard Coordinator, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring everything runs efficiently. Youâll oversee inventory, coordinate deliveries, and ensure optimal use of space and resources. Your role will include loading and unloading trucks and semi-trailers, packing equipment for transport, and supervising a small team. You'll also be responsible for scheduling logistics, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Forklift Licence with experience in operating large forklifts (up to 12 Tonne)

• Dogman ticket (preferred but not essential)

• Proven experience in loading and unloading trucks and semi-trailers

• Ability to pack equipment safely and efficiently for transport

• Experience supervising a small team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple logistic tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and time management abilities

• Experience managing supplier and subcontractor relationships

• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or logistics industry

• Proficiency in basic computer applications for inventory management
